OpenText Core Application Security, formerly Fortify on Demand, delivers application security testing as a service, and this data sheet sets out what is included. Static assessments cover more than 1,654 vulnerability categories across 33+ languages, with expert review and machine learning used to strip out false positives. Software composition analysis, which OpenText says detects 70 percent more vulnerabilities than the National Vulnerability Database alone, maps the open source components inside each application. Dynamic testing identifies more than 250 vulnerability categories in web applications and APIs, while mobile assessments cover more than 300 categories across iOS and Android. OpenText Application Security Aviator adds AI-generated fix suggestions inside developers' existing workflows, the service is FedRAMP Authorized, and testing is bought through prepaid Assessment Units that remain valid for 12 months.
